Juan Santa Maria Airport
Juan Santa María international airport is located in Alajuela, near from San Jose city, this airport was called Juan Santa María, in honor to the national hero with the same name a brave boy who die in 1856 defending the country of foreign forces (filibuster commanded by William Walker).
This airport was the first international airport in Costa Rica, and receives a great number of tourists from Canada, Europe, and other parts of the globe.
